1. Selection of candidates
At your request, we conduct candidate selection for the open position.
After candidates are shortlisted, in collaboration with our partner agencies, you have the opportunity to interview them via video call to assess their skills and qualifications..

2. Obtaining permits
If the candidates meet your requirements, the agency arranges the work and residence permits, which are submitted to the Croatian Ministry of the Interior. Visa applications are submitted through the relevant Croatian consulate.
Once the visa is issued, the employee meets all requirements to enter the Schengen area, specifically Croatia, and is ready to begin employment with the employer. While the permit process is ongoing, we prepare and educate the candidate on local laws, as well as their work rights and obligations.

3. Arrival of employees
The agency ensures the reservation and purchase of the plane ticket. The Connect Human Resources team will ensure the reception of workers upon arrival and provide transportation to the registered residential address.

How long does the procedure for hiring employees take?
From the beginning of the selection process (interview) to the issuance of the residence and work permit and visa takes an average of 60 to 75 days.
What are the obligations when employing foreign workers?
Foreign citizens have the same rights as citizens of the Republic of Croatia, including health and pension insurance. The employer is also obliged to provide accommodation to a foreign citizen who must meet the minimum requirements for a normal life. Several employees may be registered at the same address.
In which professions and with which employers can a third-country national employed in the Republic of Croatia work?
A third-country national may work in the Republic of Croatia only in the professions for which he has obtained a residence and work permit or a work registration certificate. In addition, he/she may only work for the employer with whom he/she has entered into an employment relationship.
What happens after the contract expires?
The application for the extension of the residence and work permit is submitted to the police department or station according to one of three criteria. This can be the place of residence, the location of the employer or the place of work. The application must be submitted no later than 30 days before the expiration of the valid residence and work permit.
